It was such a pleasure to see you again, Patrick and Rhea and meet your sweet little man.   He is absolutely precious!

This sweet little girl made her mommy and daddy wait a few extra weeks for her.  But the best things in life are definitely worth the wait.

She is absolutely gorgeous, Hailey and Jake.   Thanks so much for asking me to capture her early days.

I am always in awe of the miracle that is a newborn baby…

What a beautiful little boy you have, Lisanne and Regan.   It was such  a treat to be invited to your home to photograph him.  Everything about him is pure perfection – as you already know.  Thank you again for a lovely morning.

I had the pleasure of spending the morning with this sweet little baby girl yesterday.   Only 7 days old – so sweet and new.  Lovely brown hair and such delicate features and such a dream to photograph.

Thank you so much for having me out to capture Adalyn’s first few days, Melissa and Karl. It had a great time meeting you both!  Your daughter is pure sweetness.

Isn’t that just the most precious name?  A sweet name for such a sweet baby girl. This little angel came into the world a few weeks early, eager to celebrate her first Christmas I’m guessing.  She was welcomed by her adorable big brother, who happens to be the very first newborn I photographed 2 years ago.  How I love getting to visit with past clients and seeing how the little ones have grown!

Miss Kennedy was a little darling for her first session.   I always enjoy visiting with this wonderful family and look forward to many more sessions to come.

Beautiful twin girls – twice the blessing.  I was so excited when Mom contacted me about a newborn session for her twin baby girls on the way.  This was my first set of twins and they were so perfect in every way.  I loved seeing how different their little personalities are even at this very young age.     It was more than a pleasure – it was a complete joy to get to be the one to document them at their tiniest.

Best friends for life…

Thank you so much Jessica and Chris for having me out to photograph your sweet baby girls.  It was such a wonderful experience – they are just simply gorgeous.

Such a perfect name for this perfect gentleman.    Little Jake is the sweet baby boy of this gorgeous mama. I love being able to go back and photograph the darling newborns of my maternity clients. And little Jake did not disappoint – he was simply perfect.  7 pounds of pure newborn gorgeousness.

Candice and David, you have such a beautiful little man. It was so great getting to visit with you again. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our session. Thank you so much for having me into your home.

He had the most perfect curl….right in the middle of his forehead.

Before each newborn session, I take time to plan which blankets to lay the baby on, which hats to take along and what new baskets, bowls or furs I hope to use.  I’m always thinking about poses and positions for the sweet little babe that I’m about to meet.  But you never can really plan a session from beginning to end…so much of what happens  depends upon the sweet little newborn.  Does she like her tummy or back best?  Will she sleep well?    You just never really know until you meet her…

And how lucky was I to get to meet sweet Emmalin this morning?  Such a gorgeous little model and she seemed to know just what she was supposed to do… sleep, sleep, sleep.   And even when she woke up for a snack a time or two,  she blessed the camera with her big beautiful eyes – oh so sweet.

8 days old and sweet as can be.  Little Miss Brinley was such a wonderful little model for our session this week.  She was so content and slept her way through almost the whole 3 hours.    We had a lovely time and I always feel so lucky to be able to spend a few hours with these new little ones – so sweet and pure.    Their ‘newness’ never gets old to me.

Thank you Amy and Bruce for having me to your home to photograph your little sweetie.  She is absolutely perfect in every way (but you knew that already!)
