I sit here trying to think of something to say about this beautiful family.   Something that will sum up just how wonderful they are,  how important they are to me and my own family, just how lucky we are to have them as our friends.  We’ve been friends since high school and now get to watch our kids grow up together.    They are truly more than friends – they are family.

I got a chance to photograph them this weekend.   And I must say, don’t they look GREAT!  Their outfits are perfect for photos – colors that compliment, solids and simple patterns, layers and textures.    I had chatted with  Lisa about the clothes and consulted a bit,  but I was so excited to see them step out of the car with it all put together just perfectly!

I had to put the two below side by side.  I had told her there was a little fairy who lived in the barn and that she had to be very still and very quiet so she wouldn’t frighten the fairy away.  And just at the perfect moment,  a bird chirped and her face lit up!  She was certain it was the fairy!

It has been a long while since I’ve done a Fashion Friday post.    Forgive me!   But I was just thumbing through the Boden catalog and drooling over some of the adorable fall clothes they have in their line this year.  If you don’t know Boden, you need to go visit their site and request a catalog!  My 5 year old son loves looking through it and telling me just what he wants.  Not only are their clothes super fashionable, but they are livable and wear extremely well.  Oh, and they have Boden for us mommies too!
