I was so excited when my sweet friend Katie asked me to photograph her adorable Miss Abby while she was visiting from Texas.   Abby, at almost a year, was one of the most expressive little ones I’ve photographed in a long time.  So many cute little faces…

And of course, I had to capture images of Mommy and her little girl.

Thank you so much for asking me to photograph her, Katie.  She is just adorable.  I loved seeing you again!

I love that this beautiful momma not only wanted to celebrate the joy of her pregnancy with our photo session, but also the love she has for her first baby boy.   In a matter of weeks, he will go from seeming like her little baby to being the much older, independent big brother.    What a lucky family his new little brother is to be born into such a family of love.

Thank you so much, Jillian for asking me to photograph this special time for you and your family.  I can’t wait to meet your new little man very soon!

I had a wonderful time with this family and these two adorable little girls.   I had a very hard time narrowing down the images for this blog post!  Here are just a few of the many sweet moments we captured…

Thank you so much for asking me to capture your beautiful family, Melissa.  I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Thank you so much for such a fun session, Brandee and Adam.  Your boys are adorable!  I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!

I was so thrilled to be asked by fellow photographer Jessica Hamlin to photograph her family.  I had such a fun time with her sweet, silly boys! I am sure there is never a dull moment in the Hamlin house with these two little munchkins running about. Adorable, sweet and full of life and love.

I am so honored you asked me to capture these moments for you, Jessica. Thank you! I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek of our session.  We were so lucky to find just the perfect spot to capture that beautiful, golden light.  Shhhh… don’t tell anyone about our “secret” location that just might have been the Marysville Home Depot parking lot.  hehe!  There is beauty all around us.  We just have to open our eyes to see it.

And here is one very beautiful family…

If you are interested in scheduling a session for your own family, please contact me soon.   I am currently booking early fall sessions.

Just take a peek and you will see…

You have such a beautiful family, Sharee and Ryan.  I enjoyed our session so much!

We were so lucky to have a gorgeous spring evening for our session last week.  Mom and I had been watching the forecast and were ready to reschedule when the outlook miraculously changed and we were given the gift of beautiful sunshine.  We were able to schedule late enough to capture the most gorgeous evening light, just as the sun went down.   I think keeping those little ones up even a little past bedtime is worth it on a day as beautiful and as special as picture day!

Thank you Brad and Debbie for a wonderful, fun session! Your girls are just the cutest!

The rain didn’t dampen our fun even though it did force us to reschedule many sessions!  Living in the Pacific Northwest has been a bit tough this spring, hasn’t it?  I had such a lovely time meeting up with moms and their children for these sessions.  Here are just a few from this past weekend… more to come from other sessions soon!

Enjoy the little things,

for one day you may look back and realize

they were the big things.

I thought this recent session was the perfect one to share on this Mother’s Day weekend.  I hope you all have a wonderful Mother’s Day and spend time enjoying the little moments that make life so sweet.
