Joy is not in things… it is in us — Richard Wagner

Thank you so much, Martinez family!  xoxo

Fall has been full of fun family sessions.  I always love when we can get the furry, four-legged family members involved!

McCullough Family, you are beautiful.  I feel honored to be able to capture your deep love for one another.  You are always in my prayers. Blessings to you. xo

This time of year is always the busiest so I seem to fall behind on blogging.  As I race to catch up, I want to share this session full of love and warm September sun. I know this mama has been waiting to see a sneak peek!

Thank you so much, Monira for another wonderful session.  Your girls are beautiful!

I feel so lucky to know this great family and that our children are friends.  Our session was so easy and fun!  We were able to shoot it right at their home, bathed in warm gorgeous light.

I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek, Matt and Jana!  I could have shared every image from our session.  Your boys are just too cute!

I loved getting to photograph this fun family. I’ve known Dad since elementary school (Go Vikings!) and had the pleasure of meeting Mom and sweet Katie this year in my daughter’s dance class. I was flattered when she asked me to photograph them!  We chose a beautiful location in Skagit County that allowed us to capture both the fields and the forests around us.

Thank you so much, Tom and Robyn!  I hope you enjoy this preview of our session!

…when skies are gray.    While I do love my sunny sessions, sometimes it is nice to have a session under the clouds.  The landscape is so soft and lovely.  It was so nice to spend this cloudy evening with this loving family.

Thank you Dani for asking me to capture your family.  Your kids were so full of life and so much fun!

Little Miss Courtney was a bundle of fun for her 2 year old session…  such a cutie!

These sweet little ones spent our session looking for “twinkles” in the grass, searching for clues, and having an adventure.   I think those “twinkles” just might have helped us create a little magic that night…

Thank you, Erin for a beautiful session. Your children are gorgeous!

What a wonderful way to spend a sunny morning… with this little doll.   I cannot believe it’s been two years since I photographed her newborn session.  It is always a joy to see you Miss Teagan!
