Cabbage Patch Cutie | Skagit County Photographer
April 14, 2010There is something about shooting a session in an open field that makes my heart sing. Maybe it’s because I grew up here, surrounded by the beautiful wide open spaces that we are so lucky to have here in the valley. Maybe it’s because I’m the granddaughter of farmers and many of my fondest childhood memories are of playing the strawberry fields and running down the rows of berries. Or maybe it’s just because it is the perfect setting to concentrate on what truly matters to me when shooting families – the beautiful child, the gorgeous family and the amazing love they have for each other.
I have so many favorites from my recent session with the adorable Miss Hazel… I hope you don’t mind me posting a few more than I normally do!
I hope you enjoyed your little sneak peek, Danielle. It was so much fun to photograph sweet Hazel. And thank you to your family for letting us use their beautiful field. I think it was just the perfect spot!
