April 24, 2012So prayed for, so wanted, so loved. Meet Liv.
Thank you Raye for welcoming my crazy bunch into your home and for being such a wonderful friend. Our visit was much too short! I am so, so happy for you. What a precious gift she is. xoxo
If you haven’t visited Raye’s website before, you must! Her talent is inspring. Such an artist.
Full of Beauty | Skagit County Maternity Photographer
April 17, 2012Earlier this month, I had a chance to travel to Arkansas to visit my husband’s family. It just so happens that his niece is expecting their second son very soon. I love that I got a chance to photograph her and the beautiful green landscape of Arkansas. I was so surprised at how gorgeous it was there! Having been deprived of sun and outdoor sessions for several long winter months, this was pure heaven for me – even with the fire ants and ticks around! Their home is surrounded by forests and fields… the perfect backdrop for our session.
Looking forward to hearing the good news soon, Aubrey and Adam! Much love, Melissa xo
Be Beautiful | Skagit County Boudoir Photographer
April 15, 2012I am thrilled to begin offering something new for my clients. I have hesitated to call these sessions “boudoir photography” because I truly believe it is so much more than that. I want these sessions to make my client feel special and to radiate each woman’s own personal beauty. These custom sessions are about you. Each session will be different and unique just like the women I photograph.
I have worked hard over the past few years to develop a connection with the families that I photograph so that I can better capture their love and emotion. These sessions are no different. I want to know you, as a person, so that I can capture that twinkle in your eye that makes you “you”.
Can these photos be sexy? Yes! Can they be flirty? Of course! Can you keep your clothes on? hehe… Definitely! Just know that no matter what… you will be beautiful.
Thank you to my lovely friend Susan, who graciously agreed to be my first model for these sessions. She is a loving mother to two adorable little boys, a devoted wife and one amazing hair stylist! You were awesome, Susan! I hope you enjoy this little peek of our session.
