Archive for October, 2010

Ashley is my final senior of 2010.  What a way to end the year too! She is an absolutely beautiful girl with an infectious smile.  She was completely at ease in front of my camera even though she admitted to being a bit nervous before we began.  You won’t see any butterflies in these photos.  Just a gorgeous, smiling girl with a bright future ahead of her.

Ashley, you were so much fun to work with.  I am so glad I got to meet you and your sweet mom.  I hope you enjoyed this little peek (and that it didn’t cause too many tears for you, Mom!)  I’ll be in touch soon…

On a scheduling note, I am completely booked for the remainder of 2010.  I am booking maternity and newborn sessions only for January and February. If you are interested in scheduling a session, please don’t wait to contact me.    Seniors, I am so sad that I’ve had to turn down so many of you for sessions this fall because I have been booked.  If you are hoping for a spring session, please contact me soon to reserve a spot.  And class of 2012, if you are thinking of a session for your senior photos next year, contact me in EARLY SPRING for a summer or fall session.  I book up quickly during those months and often have to turn students away!   I LOVE photographing seniors so I’m always disappointed when I have to say no.  So, get on it and get scheduled early! :)

Such a fun session!  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family before – in fact, mom was my first maternity client and little miss was one of my first newborns.  I love that I got a chance to capture them as a family now – so full of fun!

Thanks so much, Bob and Angie! I loved seeing you guys.  I hope you enjoy your little peek here on the blog… many more coming soon in your gallery!

It’s always such a pleasure to spend a morning with a beautiful newborn baby.  Little Ryley was so peaceful during our session.   And it’s perfectly clear how adored he is by his big sister…

Thank you so much, Amanda and Kyle for sharing your lovely little boy with me last week.  It was so great to meet you and your sweet family.

Little Summit made the long drive up here to see me and I am so thankful he did.  I was able to capture his beautiful sleepy smiles.  Those fleeting little smiles that grace a sleeping baby’s face just melt me.

“The smile that flickers on a baby’s lips when he sleeps – does anybody know where it was borne?

Yes, there is a rumor that a young pale beam of a crescent moon touched the edge of a vanishing autumn cloud

and there the smile was first born…”

Thank you so much Cedar and Terah for bringing your sweet little man to see me.  Such a beautiful family you have!
