Typically, February is not family session season.  But I had to say yes to this session for many reasons.  First, we have had the most gorgeous weather – higher than normal temperatures, dry days and plenty of sun.  And second, this family is visiting here all the way from Finland!  Amy grew up here and has been visiting since the holidays.    When she first contacted me, I had my doubts we would be able to make it happen since winter here is usually wet, wet, wet.  But I am so glad it worked out.   Warm sun, a beautiful field and a gorgeous, fun family.    It was truly a joy to photograph you guys and such a pleasure to meet you Miikka.  And I even know how to sound like a cow in Finnish now!

What a beautiful little boy you have, Lisanne and Regan.   It was such  a treat to be invited to your home to photograph him.  Everything about him is pure perfection – as you already know.  Thank you again for a lovely morning.

I love pretty products and the gorgeous new Linen Session Album does not disappoint.   A 9×9 square album, it contains 22 of your favorite 5×7 images from your session all matted beautifully beneath creamy white rag mats.   I had this sample album made so clients could feel the thick, heavy pages and the lovely texture of the linen cover.  There are over 20 cover choices with the option to add a 3×3 image on the cover, as well.  Truly a beautiful custom keepsake.  This is not an album to store away in a closet. I had the pleasure of spending the morning with this sweet little baby girl yesterday.   Only 7 days old – so sweet and new.  Lovely brown hair and such delicate features and such a dream to photograph.

Thank you so much for having me out to capture Adalyn’s first few days, Melissa and Karl. It had a great time meeting you both!  Your daughter is pure sweetness.

Had a chance to visit my friend yesterday and play with her little man, Jesse.  What a cutie!  Hard to believe he is 4 months old already…

Can I love his Aerosmith t-shirt anymore???
